Qualification exams are coming up, so there's not much time for any extracurricular activity these days. But I did want to quickly note that Iran recently held a military parade to celebrate National Army Day, an event held to show that (a) the Iranian military and its leadership are not to be trifled with, and (b) they belong in Lady Gaga videos.

Stop saddling me with more projects! Seriously, though, I think there's more to be said about this, but I just don't have time. Is there a deadline for submissions to that journal?
not sure about the deadline. i thought it could interesting, but i had nothing close to what you've got here. honestly, there potential of material that could spring from putting these things in dialogue could be awesome. let me know if you want to co-author.
